Jaipur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas to improve their city under Smart City Challenge.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Jaipur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, Blog writing competition, Logo making competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 30th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Nagar nigam Website, Smart City Website) used to reach citizens.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

More parking zones in each node near commercial markets to avoid parking on both sides of the road which causes traffic.

jaipur nagar nigam and JDA jaipur m apsi samiti honi chai. jab bee ksi kam ke liea bat kee jati ha to ak dusri par talta rat ha. jaipur ma badi road par jo side me khali jga hoti hi us jgs ko narsiri walo alot karni chai, jeesi haryali ke sat sat road ki saf safi bee hoti rahigee. es ke lea govt. ko narsiry walo ko jaipur nagar nigam ke standard size, gamle, jaga ki chani suvida ka anusar karni chaia

first of all any #smartCity would be smart when citizen of that city are smart. so, lets start the awareness from children first. there should be proper monthly basis classes or seminars on manners & etiquette in schools and other institution. so that the know how to make this city & this country clean & smart.

Considering water pollution, I think it is a serious matter to look into it. Aminshah Nalla is crossing every area of Jaipur . Thus, its quality and level of pollution into it will definitely effect most parts of Jaipur. I think if we can somehow start controlling this, we will start adding beauty to jaipur. Level of air/water pollution is inversly proportional to Jaipur beauty/Jaipurites life.

Encroachment free pathways and widening of roads is main issue of smart city of Jaipur .There should be a better wi fi and internet connectivity.

I got transferred from Visakhapatnam recently and pained to see lack of cleanliness in Jaipur. Contribution from public is very low and I haven"t seen any sanitary staff working on streets. Some of are my suggestions you may consider 1. Ban Plastic bags, rampant use is happening which will choke ground water absorption 2. provide Dust bins ( Concrete) and penalize people who throw litter on streets
