Jaipur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas to improve their city under Smart City Challenge.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Jaipur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, Blog writing competition, Logo making competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 30th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Nagar nigam Website, Smart City Website) used to reach citizens.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

Report has taken into account strength of city in trade & transport, education, engineering industry has positioned itself to extend itself into value added skilled services. Area chosen for the proposal will help for integration of twin cities and developing high value economic growth centre.

All the basic thing education, helth, employment, Citizen services should be necessary to all the citizen. Definitely Infrastructure which was earlier should be newer as well new plan

Maintenance- We develop roads, we re-innovate many things but spend few time/money on its maintenance. Jaipur need to make sure that regular maintenance is done at regular intervals. Contractor who worked on particular development , his details should be provided clearly to area peoples so that any fault/flaw on his development should be informed directly or to respective person.

Government need to make sure that these wastages are disposed properly and where we are becoming smart city, we should inherit the most latest technology to dispose or recycle these waste items.

Since Only ideas and suggestion wont work anymore. So we"ve decided to do it by our own and we need Nagar Nigam help, since our heritage properties are the central point of attraction for our tourist, and it gives us business. So we have taken a small initiative, where, we are going on weekend and to clean maximum garbage from Jalmahal, And we dont have equipments to collect the garbage so need janan help. Its not any more time to blame its time to implemen

aipur is till now heritage city but after some time it will be called heritage+smart city due to the effort of proposed draft

Nice Proposal,Best way to reduce traffic ,introduce TRAM or light rail vehicle system, use solar power to run the system.
