Big non-comm./Luxury consumers of oil/gas must pay higher tax & must be subject to fuel rationing. The no. of SUVs have swelled fast, recently. These are owned mainly by the Neo/Rich owning mainly Black Money and having criminal inclinations. They are a product of unholy Criminal-Politician-Bureaucrat nexus. This Neo/Rich class is irresponsible, extravagant, and given to Luxury. This is a socio-eco. disorder, which needs to be tackled wisely. Such taxes to be used for subsidising Agri/industry.

We must have ways and means in Indian Railways to stop trespassing. We can see people passsing railway tracks without seeing that the train is coming. Its very dangerous. I am a rugular traveller of train and witnees that people offen seen sitting on the roof top of the trains. Its very dangerous. We must have strict laws about the same.

Indian Railways should have a 3-tier system in practice for operations. They have it in concept, but do not practice it. Tier 1 trains should be operated from dedicated platforms, in a similar manner as airlines, and the section of stations for these trains should be segregated. They should have premium charges (like Rajdhanis) and premium facilities. They should operate only at Rajdhani standards. Revenue generated from these trains will assist railways in financial revival. These trains have a huge scope as their fares will still be 25-50% lower than airlines. It is obvious from the fact that despite absence of segregation, all Rajdhanis are always full. Tier 2 trains should be normal superfast trains, and these trains should be operated like now. but with stops based on criteria, not constituency of netaji. A subrule within law should be introduced not allowing stoppage for such trains in any stations with less than 1 million population in the district. Only exceptions should be strategic defence locations, north east, and operational-need stops. Tier 3 should be localized operation between pairs of tier 2 operational cities to provide seamless connectivity to long distance travellers. They should not be further extendible. Currently we have local trains going 100s of kilometers choking up lines and hardly generating any viable revenue. Tier 1 sections of stations should be leased out to private operators on condition of providing facilities and revenue share to railways.
