This budget should focus on Swach Bharat. Anyone travelling to railway station or travelling by 2nd class or general class can share their experience how bad it is. Railway Minister this year should not start any new train and focus on improving on what we already have.

We need escalators and elevators on all the stations of India.Young and fit people can take the staircase but what about old age and handicap people?.This budget should provision atleast one escalator and one elevator on all the platforms of the nation. How to do this considering the costing - Create a special fund in this regard - whoever contributes to this gets exemption in tax for complete contribution + some additional % on that.Invite corporates to contribute as part of CSR

For unmanned crossings, there should be couple of speed breakers on either side. Plus, there should be an arch on either side, with a remote controlled signage system, which would display a) The time in minutes and seconds left for the next train to pass b) Next to this, should be a indicator/flashing - red for do not cross, orange for saying that it is going to be red, and a green signal saying it is safe to cross. This can be solar operated.

I didn't find a place to start a new discussion. We need a forum to provide ideas for cleanliness of railways, including waste disposal techniques. Any guidance?

Aise chize rokne ke liye Railway station se 1km. Tak round round wires lagane chaheye jo ground floor se 4-5 feet upar tak hone chaheye. Aisa krne se govt. Ka paisa bhi bachega nd logo me dar bhi baith jaega. Baki jald se jald manless crossing ko normal fatako se cover krna chaheye..!!

if amenities are extended to the passenger, then working of the railway will be fine. unknown persons getting in platform and station should be stop. cleanness of the train and platform should be upto mark other than private persons. as they provide less people and work them 24 hrs and don't provide salary, so their service decrease and quality of work get decreases which lead to poor amenities and services.

first railway administration should check the old data, how much is railway property and boundary. as come to know officers itself are selling the property and boundaries to the private people and show it as a property is of his and has to be given to him. should understand first what is the formality.

first corrupt railway officers should be curtal done. officers are not working, staff of indian railways are working. as seen when officers come in the train all the staff get in his service. this should be stopped, what ever he does is right, smoking drinking etc. and even with out proper tickets, if the top level is corrected and restricted the bottom will automatically function affectionately. this is try than see how others work... try and check results.
