Few takes on Indian Railways vis-a-vis governance. Indian Railways is biggest platform for government evaluation as its role transcends from it being mere transport medium. The recent hikes without any or no changes in facilities in terms of cleanliness and staff behaviour is costing heavily in reputation. Sanitation is big issue; no body to help on help desk; we require new tracks to reduce burden on old ones. If diseal prizes are down the fair may be reduced to reap confidence

I can suggest some views on cleanliness. To maintain cleanliness in toilets in trains I have an idea, we have many junctions across the country, just increase halt time by 5 mins in each and every junction on the rout of each train and allow railway sweepers to clean each and every toilet of train. Once done then only give the signal. This will help the passenger as well as railway in maintaining cleanliness

These all are important issues for Indian railway system, but one important issue is left behind, that is the cleanness of the railway track on stations. Yes this is an important issue. though it is clearly said that using toilets in train while the train is resting on platform is prohibited, still the people use toilets as this is a natural process and postponing it is sometime not possible and due to which the waste material lies on railway track which leads to unhygienic situation..........

Fencing should be done on both sides of tracks. By this 1)people dont come btwn tracks 2)The people who are Jumping from running train are avoided.

STEPS-: 1.check corruption of ticket collectors 2.increase earnings by increasing the nmbr of coaches. 3.there sud b proper fencing on both sides of the track. 4.railway crossing must have overbridge(high way) or underway,as this could save hundreds of lifes.

Dear PM, Its really saddens me to see state of Indian Railways, that too when almost all of India is dependent on it somehow or the other. We still have to see any change in its functioning since the time your Gov came.It has gone worse. Even premier trains like Shatabadi are not running on time. Take example of Train no. 12017/12018(DDN Shatabadi).Check its record of last six months. When your Gov. can't run properly what already exists , how can we trust bullet trains and all other dreams.
