Suggest measures to create jobs in rural areas so as to prevent excessive strain on our urban areas and at the same time enhance the development of the villages.

How would creating better employment opportunities in rural areas help stop migration to cities and thus prevent excessive strain on our urban areas at the same time enhancing the development of the villages?

Cultivation of Jatropha plants in rural India should be taken up in large scale. This bio diesel will help creating huge job opportunities. This saves lot of money for the rural people and better revenue for the sale proceeds. oil import can come down by 20% and saving huge money to the govt.will have positive impacts on the entire nation. our CAD will come down, dependency on US $ will fall.oil crisis in the world can be mitigated. When we are independent country dependency shouldn't be there.

Amul should start dairy products manufacturing in North East. The entire NE has abundant fodder for cattle and with less cost all dairy products can be manufactured and this can be easily exported to Asian Countries thru Assam/AP..This will also helps to reduce the current cost on Milk & other dairy products. We can create huge job opportunity in NE and also give good revenue to the govt. Through this bio gas also can be produced and this in turn reduces usage of kerosene and better life for NE.

Respected Prime Minister Modi-ji, There is a need to re-examine the BJP's opposition to organised retail. The new/ revised policy could build in some safeguard to small retailers. I believe that allowing organised retail to open shop in the country will improve the income of farmers -- because presently middlemen earn most of the income in the sale of agricultural produce. Permitting organised retail will also increase employment all along the chain from farm to fork. Control price rise als

India needs to develop food processing industry. This would help empower rural India. We cant waste vegetables when they are grown in season. We need to learn this from west, where fresh vegetables are expensive than processed vegetables.

Government jobs which require backend processing should shift to rural areas in first phase. Private sector will follow. The skillset will move to rural areas and the whole system will then generate more jobs for rural people. Once many people move, hotels, stalls, grocery etc is needed which will be started by these village youth. IT and IT hardware are not location specific hence they can move first.
