Rural India was more comfortable during their traditional jobs. As the modernization hit the market, the demand for rural traditional manpower, skill and products lost their demand. To recreate importance and demand, the government should once again support and promote traditional skills of rural India.

Productivity of every individual employed in a field must be recorded and people superfluously employed in agriculture, without adding anything to the produce must be removed , to counter disguised unemployment. In the wake of poor modes of transportation in rural areas ,these people may be encouraged to enter into transport sector and carry the produce of farmers to the markets.

Rural youth are generally deemed to be physically more strong than their urban counterparts. They must be given priority in selection for police and other armed forces.

My suggestion is , why can't we have a system through which we can pass the land to a farmer(may be who dont/less land) via a gov.(law) for temporary basis to irrigate and utilize the land without the fear of loosing it. This will be beneficial for both , the land owner and the farmer.

There are several people in India who are working in urban India and have ample area of land in rural area. They are not able to utilize there land for agriculture purpose due to some or other reason. Consequence, either the lands are left with no utilization or the people are giving land to someone who is native to the place and utilize the land. However, in second option, in several part of India ,people fears of loosing their land as after sometime, the natives start showing their rights.

I attach herewith an article titled 'Why India needs Food Bankers' which creation of a new system of food monetization through Food Bankers from private and public sector, who can be catalytic in skill development and other developmental roadmap of robust agriculture economy. The idea is worth replicating on ground as it would create jobs in rural area.
