What is proposed in the Concept Note is National Health Registry. We are rediscovering the wheel. National Health Registry is a well structured programme based on SQL coupled to Health data Exchanges at State Level and its major outcome is Health Status monitoring for all enrolled and forecasting epidemics. We had sent the proposal last year to PMO office (we have the forwarding letter) and PMO office forwarded it to MOH&FW in july 2014. We never heard anything further. We can discuss details.

Aadhar based medical history from birth mandatory in every clinic. Medican History is great for research and diagnostics. Low cost solutions are available to make this possible.

There are two things that we need to think for future. First, Making India as world's first place for Medical Tourism #MyGov. For this need to make more convenient policies for foreign patients,NRI's, PIO's. Second, creating health card for all the citizens and making it compulsory while visiting clinic, hospitals. Making as ID proof will add extra benefits. #NeHA #MinistryofHealthandFamilyWelfare

Hi, I have written mails to health and family welfare ministry, science and technology ministry, i have been writing on PMO India to seek an appointment regarding my proposal in the same field but haven't received any revert from any place. What is the use of these platforms and websites if there is no one to respond? I Hope there is someone here to respond. Thanks Anish sharma 9899794540

I work in this arena in the USA and will be more than happy to share what I know. The first suggestion would be to figure out the purpose of the National e-Health Authority, i.e. what it is that you want to accomplish with it. Once this is known, it will become clear who should be heading it, the kind of system that needs to be built and how to go about it. In order to build something of value, your system needs to be able to provide meaningful insights. So keep this in mind as well.

Going through the concept again I notice that it not jet mature for any further discussion. I would propose the authors to delve deeply into the the problem and write a more detailed/precise report so as to enable people to offer useful comments.I do not mean to be nasty but if one wants people to comment it should be some thing to comment on. I sincerely hope to see a better report in very near future.

Copying of E health USA style will be dangerous as even now they are not able to integrate ICD 10 in their Electronic health record system as it is very complex and doctors instead of seeing patients more concerned on entering data so simple solution like making a state level ehealth dynamic portal with password to assess by all health authorities who can enter data and pay fees for investigations and treatment.

There are few countries in the world where full body medical check up of all citizens once in a year is mandatory. The citizens are required to carry with them their Health Card while driving. India is a vast country with different political ideologies many of them vertically opposite to each other. The Government should strive to 1. Ensure free full body medical check up of all citizens once in 2-3 years. The medical history so generated should be linked with Aadhar Cards.

A common premise when new ideation occurs is to either find holes in it and detract away from constructive positive thinking or go overboard in implementing it by investing and at times reinventing the wheel...in this case i strongly suggest to do the following 1. pilot e-health studies through established colleges using students respectively to tackle various local aspects that will be ascertained during studies/whitepapers/phds etc 2. RE-USE Primary health care centers which have a wide netw
