http://www.nlm.nih.gov/research/umls/Snomed/snomed_main.html SNOMED , http://www.hl7.org/ HL7, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fast_Healthcare_Interoperability_Resources FHIR and http://www.himss.org/library/interoperability-standards HIMSS are a few of the standards used worldwide. Singapore apart from Australia is also pioneer in it, you can have collaboration with experts there. Also UK is a big Failure in this field and hence must take the lessons why and where they failed so that we can avoid.

It is a very complex system. I would say our company has a lot of expertise in it. you must take help from www.nehta.gov.au and we have a lot of experts in each and every aspect of it. But I would like to integrate AYURVEDA in it in INDIA along with allopathy. If possible keep in mind other healing techniques like homeopathy, accupressure etc. so that they can be integrated if required later.

I work in a company called nehta. it's web address is www.nehta.gov.au . The first step in realising the NeHA dream is standardise each process. Our company is the authority to standardise, conformance, compliance and accreditation. We also need unique id for each individual, each doctor or service provider and each hospital/lab or service organisation. The interoperability is very important. HL7 is the organisation who already has a huge database of each and everything related to it.

Sir , Sometimes I wonder at one time we are taking about skilled India , Youth driving India. At the same time , politicians taking votes by distributing free things out of the national money , reserving every thing for the citizens on the basis of cast and religion. In case , a person buys votes with his money he is called corrupt and he is free to buy the votes by public money then he is not considered corrupt. What a country we are.
