Write an app to document public restrooms by area code. Crowdsource ratings on cleanliness via mobile (is it clean)? Have a year end rating for the municipality based on cumulative scores. Give positive reinforcement by awards for the best municipality in each state. Do the same for garbage disposal. Contact me if you need help writing the app (can do it for free as a gift to India).

one person one day one pledge(Small change for an exponential movement) Every day 5 minutes from 9:00 PM to 9:05 PM on every single television channel (its important) a slot is booked for a 5 minutes Pledge. Everyday a person from different walk of life which has influenced people in anyway comes and asks people to take a pledge for one small thing on cleanliness. Across political parties, professions, actors, sport stars one person one day one pledge at a time. CSR benefits to channels.

Yes. emphasis should be also on prevention as well. dustbin should made available at place to place. What I personally observed is when I have to throw wrapper of food products, I couldn't find proper place(dustbin) to throw it. I think it happens to everyone. So anyone throw it wherever it generate such waste, and that increase trash.

I love this clean India initiative but it's difficult to follow in our everyday practical life due to less dust bins.my humble request is to increase the dust bins count in all public places and streets.

One Shortcut to a clean India could be banning- sticking Bills, posters , Pamphlet distribution etc even sliding them inside newspapers, should not be allowed. If anyone wants to publicize their product they are free to send direct mail though post or email or mobiles. A fine should be imposed. Secondly please ban open/uncovered transport of Sand or Garbage in trucks etc

Clean India Team, Sirs, The efforts and initiatives are highly appreciated here as the drive and methods are nothing but flashy purely photo ops and self glorifying of opportunists.i for one would request the whole Govt. body to include all the utility departments, i.e, the corpn, the muncips, panchayat, EBs,WAs even with the help and authority of the local Police dept. to clean up, spick and span, FULL WIDTH of every roads in this country by clearing for the Pedestrians FIRST then the rest.
