16. Lethargic public transport across the country
17. Roads are not maintained properly, especially during the monsoon season
18. The most common driving rules or norms are not clearly taught or clearly learned
19. Ignorance of weather conditions and terrain while driving
20. Loud music inside air-conditioned cars leading to Driver's inability to hear the warning horns
21. Repeat offenders get free by bribing
22. Drunk Driving offenders are not dealt strictly with.

8. Cycling not a priority for the Government and not taken into planning while designing the roads
9. Zebra crossings are not clearly defined
10. Footpaths are occupied by street vendors
11. Pedestrian signals don’t work properly on traffic signals
12. Encroachment along the road by parked cars leaves less space for the drivers
13. No power backup for traffic signals
14. Meager fines for violating traffic rules
15. Easy to bribe and get a driving license from the RTO

1. No Government cap on number of new vehicles allowed on road per month/ per year
2. Non enforcement of existing laws
3. Lot of people don’t even understand half of the road signs since they are not educated on it
4. People have a ‘me first’ mentality on roads
5. Pedestrian crossings are missing in many places
6. Drivers don’t respect the pedestrians
7. Parents promote underage driving

Adarsh gm-Tathya & kishan sahayata Kendra with net connectivity; Improved sanitation; Electricity to every hut/house; Kishan Market; Cattle firm-milk production; Road made of brick dust with connection to town; Maintenance of water reservoir (pond, marsh etc)for fish culture; Safe drinking water facility; School up to HS; AYUSH doc operated health centre with delivery facility; Encouraged traditional culture; Police camp, transparent panchayeti raj with active participation in Govt scheme

6) A board or Employment Exchange on village Level having record of people seeking jobs in a village (So Labor be utilised when work is generated or MNREGA);
7) Employment Generation;
8) Cleanliness and modification of villages;
9) A centre operating in Sale & purchase of Goods and Commodities manufactured by Villagers.
10) A Centre for helping Farmers for the production & advancement of Agriculture Produce.
In my view, we can build 553 Model Villages by 2016 based on these lines

SAGY should be issued on the following principles:
1) Infrastructure including Roads, Primary Hospital, a School equipped with modern technology and amenities, Proper Sanitation channel across village and its disposal;
2) System for Disposal of Waste and Garbage (Waste Management);
3) A village level Manure disposal System for Production of Gas;
4) Irrigation System across the Village (Self Sufficient);
5) Plantation of trees around roads connecting Main Roads and Highways;.... (Contd)

Criteria of Aadarsh Gram should be:
1. '0' migration from the village
2. Best communicator with nearby village, city level or state level i.e. Gram Pradhan should boldly put their concerns at different platforms
3. Emphasis on Local species of flora and fauna
4. Maximum employment opportunity available
5. '0' crime. Most secure for senior cizens and Women.
