I have been stressing one compulsory military training to every one from 16 year old for two years. The benefits are as under.
1.All above 16 will come under rolls of govt.
2.They can be trained as good citizens and nurture patriotism at tender age
3.Their services can be utilised for betterment of country as per their interest and capacity.
4.Some fill the posts of armed forces as CO/JCOs, some into the internal defence and some should form PMs special force spread all over the country.

Police act only when somebody launches an FIR. This should be dispensed with. They should act even on a report by a anonymous caller reports it. Police do not do anything when somethiing happens before their own naked eyes. They should have a system where they start acting on FIRs without asking for the identity of the person reported it. This will help people come forward to report without thinking of any unnecessary troubles/interrogation.
