The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

To tackle drug menace and many more social problems 1st thing is required is to free Police from the clutches of Civil admn and politician ( practically Police is only a hafta collecting agency of higher ups. Though in democratic set up elected peoples representatives are supreme hence Police must work under civil Govt. but a system can be devised where there is no interfere in day to day working of Police. There is urgent need to reform judiciary which acts only in the interest of lawyers.

Dear Sir, I have a solution for the reservation of SC/ST/OBC. Presently it has fallen into a vicious cycle where the family of uplifted persons are mostly getting uplifted thereby creating a sub SC/ST group. Solution is the moment a person gets any job or does a business with a predefined amount of salary p.a. then his/her and his/ger family's (current/future spouse, children) SC/ST card needs to be revoked since he/she is considered uplifted. And add reservation in private to speed up upliftment

Dear sir, a need of own home is everyone's dream but due to GUWAHATI ASSAM government policy to build a own building is not possible. Because huge criteria of the department. Only builders who build big flats can get permission. There should be exemptions for middle class and upper middle class people BECAUSE middle class and upper middle class people can not build own house without loan from bank or other institutes. if building permission is not available then bank dont grant loan.

Dear Mr Modi, I believe your intentions are genuine and you are really working for development of this country. This morning, I read this news which reads "Blackmoney: SIT asks public to provide vital information on suspects" and I wondered why this cannot be expanded for Indian nationals who are stashing Black Money IN INDIA. I am sure countless people will be reported and all culprits can be brought to justice. Regards, An Honest Taxpayer
