The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources. India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica. Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP. For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower. Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

क्या हम किसी भी आतंकवादी हमले या बम ब्लास्ट के लिए तैयार है ? क्या सिर्फ खेल टूर्नामेंट से मैडल लाना और क्रिकेट में सेंचुरी लगाना ही विशेषता है ? आतंकवादियों के हौसले इतने बुलंद नही है जितने हम उनके लिए रास्ते तैयार किये हुए है। मेरा नाम कृष्ण कुमार है। मैं 25/09/2014 रेवाड़ी स्टेशन पर जो टाइम बम बरामद हुआ था। मैं उसका अकेला गवाह हूँ। स्टेशन पर हुई पुलिस की लापरवाही को मैंने बहुत खूब देखा था। अगर पुलिस थोड़ा ठीक एक्शन से काम लेती तो हम उस आतंकवादी को पकड़ सकते थे। 8221875201,8950704145

Development of feeder airlines is still in its infancy in our country. However the project has to be evaluated not only in terms of a profitable business proposition, but also to increase accessibility of a region. Ultimately we should provide an active airport every 300 km. This will also result in enhanced development of the region in long run.

i m an engineering student from gujarat in electronics & communication field . oftenly i hear that there is no appropriate job for this field in our state(gujarat). so its probably question mark on futures of such engineers & this increase graduated unemployment. so i request modiji to give attention to future of such students because they are responsible for make india digital & in techmology fields.

My father was Mining Engineer from School of Mines, Dhanbad. Lot many aspirants wit this background used to come to him to understand the facts and figures of mines. He used to draw diagram to teach every tits and bits of mines and machinery and then he used to take them to give them the practical knowledge and explanations. His mission was to produce skilled and knowledgable engineers for future.

Respected PM Sir, My NGO Youth power welfare association is a non profitable, non government organisation which is actively working in Delhi and NCR region to empower youth in terms and fields since more than a year and had setup astonishing landmarks in this very short period of time. Programmes like blood donation camp and health check up and others are regularly being organised by the association at different colleges, school and slum and other local.

Hello sir, it will be my honor to serve for my country.My issue is if there is no job available then there is no use of skill development..why do w develop our skill??? so that we can use it in a proper manner and do the right job a per our skills...my only question is, is there enough jobs available as per skill...Within a year or so i will complete my graduation but if i don't get any job then what is the use of skills i have acquired..cant there be a system that each and every skill(meaningful) has a particular job available..Thank You SIr
