Providing a digital identity to all individuals is crucial to facilitate electronic authentication for delivery of online public services. The digital identity must be unique, lifelong, online and authenticable. The digital identity should be easily verifiable in an online and cost-effective way. Aadhaar provides such a digital identity that also serves as a proof of identity and address for individuals. If such a digital identity could be linked to mobile phones in a secure manner, it would make the task of online authentication much easier at the level of the individual. As the penetration of mobile phones is high, this digital identity will facilitate the delivery of online services more easily.

\

Ideas and suggestions are welcome on how mobile phones and digital identity could be linked so that mobile phones can be used as instruments for online electronic authentication of individuals’ identities. The suggestions may include technical architecture and solutions, policy guidelines, process improvements, implementation mechanisms, cost effectiveness, operational efficiency, etc. You can upload your ideas in doc or pdf format.

A person clicks their own photo. Adds the details like name, age, address, etc and submit ids of two people who can identify him/her. It is good if one of them is the family member. In this way, we have a strong social proof of who the person is and all of this is not linked to mobile number strongly because mobile number of a person keeps on changing. Especially, for people who work outside their states. A simple 8-10 digits number can be generated as a unique number for identification.

We need to continue with aadhar card and link it to all bank accounts, any registered land document, vehicle , telephone connection etc should be linked to aadhar card. Aadhar card issuing should be done more efficiently. At present we find it difficult to get aadhar card . This will help us to eradicate black money. We should target to implement this in the coming 4-5 years

India has vast population of young age all of them cannot use a single company mobile they use different companies and it is a little bit harder to make changes in mobiles of foreign countries so I think for this we must contact telecom companies they should make adhaar as mandatory documents while taking a new connection.... installing software is a good idea but all Indians does not have Smartphone so it will not work for all.. We should think different we need an idea that is much affordable
