Allahabad city has been shortlisted by Ministry of Urban Development as one among the potential 100 smart cities under the Smart City Mission. At present, Allahabad Nagar Nigam is in the process of revising the Smart city proposal for second round participation. In this regard, Citizens of Allahabad are requested to participate actively in all Citizen Engagement process and enable our city to successfully accomplish the vision of the Smart City Mission.
Citizens are requested to give a unique tagline reflecting the city’s identity (cultural heritage & harmony) in a line.
You are requested submit your valuable suggestions before 12th May 2016.

Terms and Conditions
1. A tagline outlining the vision of how we perceive Allahabad to be as a Smart City.
2. The vision should be unique, theme based and portray a futuristic direction based on the inherent elements of the city.
3. The Tagline should be concise, in a sentence with no more than 10 words (Max).

The Tagline for Allahabad Nagar Nigam should be "Smart Prayag".
This line will make people remember that this is the second oldest city of india and a very important city as well, moreover the meaning of prayad is "place of offerings" so now Allahabad is smart city which offers a lot to people and so it is called "Smart Prayag". Also it is always tought to us that how much big we grow but we should always remember that from where we are belonging and we should never forget it.
