The Graduate Finishing School (GFS) is Vidya Poshak’s answer for the problems faced by fresh graduates when entering the job market. When severe shortage of soft skills trainers was faced, the Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) has designed an innovative scheme called 'Training Partner Scheme-TPS' for campus recruitment of Arts and Science UG and PG final year students to be intensively trained as Skill Development Executives. Under this scheme the English Department & IT Lecturers of colleges opt to become Training Partners are trained as Master Trainers and they arrange 18 day residential training to students.

Our University provide one month multimedia training program to the unemployed youths in rural area. Many found jobs in TV channels. Few started their own studio

Engineering Training in Switzerland they have the system where the student of the college work for 4 hours in a industry for practical training and theory after that and they discuss there technical problems facing by them during the practical training. Due to that there problem solving skills are developed. That's why they are the world best civil engineer.

General Management and Communication Course and Orientation Courses conducted by ICAI are very successful in moulding professional CAs. These can be included in other Indian course academic and professional courses. Communication and Personality Development programmes conducted in all over India is also giving good results.

Spoken English is a skill. LEBTOP (Learning English By Talking On Phone) www.lebtop.blogspot.in project uses a toll-free number to connect English Learners to Volunteers who speak good English. Its based on a simple idea that Language can be improved by speaking in it with good speakers. Over 10000 learners have called and over 5000 minutes of conversation has taken place. I'm the founder of this project but cannot continue it due to high toll-free number costs,So I request govt to implement it.

I find Amrita University's AMMACHI Lab's SAVE initiative - using haptics technology for developing simulating real-life situations and providing portable, cost effective, scalable, and standardized vocational education and training courses. This model can be replicated across India by assigning Summer Internship Projects to Engineering and Polytechnic college students. As part of vocational training project at Save The Children Delhi, young adult girls have been trained as beautician and are now earning 5000 + every month. For a family surviving in slums of delhi, this income was a boon. This enabled the siblings to go to school rather do child labour, enhance the decision making power of girl in family, delay marriage age.
