October 2 is a day for contemplation, for resolving to do something nobody has ever dared before. “Ekla Cholo Re”, wrote by the Mahakavi Rabindranath Tagore to describe the Mahatma’s determination to initiate social change: the health sector of India needs such a churning. On October 2, 1994, the first small step towards Polio eradication was taken by school children of Delhi after they took a collective oath to lend their labour to the great objective. Today, thanks to that original resolve, India is Polio free. For October 2 this year, your creative energies may be utilised in a message.

MyGov and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, gives you a platform to pay tribute to a great man and the father of the nation.

Let’s honour his memory by participating in a contest for designing E-Greetings for Gandhi Jayanti.

Short poem by myself: "पोलियो मुक्त भारत संदेश दिया, गांधी जी ने हमको स्वतंत्र देश दिया । उनके जनम दिवस पर हम यह प्रण उठाये, भारत को एक स्वछ स्वर्ग बनाये |" My entry is based on our beloved Bapu's Birthday and his dream of a polio-free India.
