Click & upload snaps of river Ganga and win exciting prizes - courtesy of National Mission For Clean Ganga. Namami Gange has taken unique initiative by giving the fans and those passionate about river Ganga an opportunity to participate in a photography contest.
As a part of this contest, photo enthusiasts can enter into the following categories:
1. Livelihood
2. Festivals
3. Historical Architecture
4. Biodiversity(Flora and Fauna)
5. Human activities affecting Ganga
6. Tourist destinations along river Ganga
The copyright of the submitted photographs will be with National Mission for Clean Ganga.
Participate in the #NamamiGange Photo Contest on occasion of Ganga Swachhta Pakhwada 2018. The best entry attracts a cash prize of ₹ 25,000/-, followed by ₹ 15,000/- and ₹ 11,000/- There are also 7 consolation prizes of ₹ 5000 each.

Her Majesty, the holy Mother Ganges nurtures the people along her banks dependent on her for their livelihood as her own child. And hence her children take care of the aesthetics of the Ganges. The cleanliness as visible in the photograph is of course because of the efforts made by the Modi govt. As a 'banarasi' i feel blessed that Mr. Prime minister took the huge task of cleaning Ganges as a mission.

This image is taken by my cellphone Samsung Galaxy J2 in early morning. This image is taken near Harischand Ghat in Varanasi. This image is depiting the Livelihood of Poor Sailors.The Boat and Maa Ganga is their Life line. Their day start in the lap of ganga. Connected boats with each other signifies Unity and strength to withstand obstacles.
