we should make it mandatory to install solar panels for the houses which are built over a cost of 25 lakhs. this will help to serve their own needs. we get enough sun light through out the year in most part of the country. also young talents to be encouraged to make research on developing cost effective solar power.for commercial buildings, solar panels shall be installed instead of decorative glass panels.

If I was the Government of India, I would have studied the strategies of the top energy efficient nations and then would have come up with a strategy that can be adopted for our country. As a reference i am attaching Japan's strategy for energy efficiency.

If we used solar panel in unused area of railways than we make railway free of cost.If 20 panel should fit width area than think we have 65,436 km route. With this energy convervation idea we make fully automatic station, bring transportation price drop, take minimum ticket fare to increase fund in railways to give better transportation. With this idea we also run free bullet train because we produce more electrical energy if we produce more energy than we transfer in public property.

Hi, i am from shimoga and i have observed many times here street lights are switched on even after sun has raised and there is good bright light of sun where we dont need lights to overcome this, why can we use light sensors diodes so that it will function automatically when there is less light it will switch on automatically and switch when there is enough light by this at least we do our bit to save electricity...

If we used Solar panel in unused area of railway than we run railway with free of cost, as well railways station and many more.If we just used 20 panel in width than just think we have route of 65,436 km. If this idea should used than transportation cost drop, just minimum ticket for increase fund in government. With this solar idea we make railways station fully automatic system. If more energy should produce than we supply this energy to public used. This solar idea bring revolution in the world.

1. Prevent misuse of energy in govt offices/building where lights remain on for 24 hrs. No one care to switch off the lights in offices.

Since land is limited in urban areas, I would have made waste management, rain water harvesting and solar panels (to provide energy for common areas to reduce energy consumption) a must for all high rises.

Being an electric vehicle pioneer...i suggest to introduce electric vehicles in all the congested cities. There are various types of electric vehicles which can be made in India which will help to decongest the cities, reduce air n sound pollution and save foreign exchange by reducing oil imports. Latest battery technologies make these vehicles cheap & affordable. Some areas of cities can be tried out as a pilot project.
