All citizens and stakeholders of Tirupati City are invited to participate in the essay writing competition on the Theme of Mera Sapno ka Shahar i.e. “Tirupati Nagaram – Naa Kalala Tirupati”.

Municipal Corporation Tirupati will use the inputs from the winning entries to develop the Vision and Sub-goals for the City Plan and preliminary idea of Smart Solutions and Area Based Developments. Essay can be written in English or Telugu.

Topic

The citizens are requested to present the essay on below topic

• Issues/needs of the city, possible solutions for these issues and priorities

Word Limit: Essay should be approximately 1000 words.

The Top 3 Essays will be awarded as:

1. For Students

a) 1st Prize - Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize - Rs 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize - Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)

2. For Others

a) 1st Prize - Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize - Rs 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize - Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)

How to Submit

1. Submit online at https://mygov.in
2. On Postal - Commissioner, Tirupati Municipal Corporation, Tirupati. Please mention on top of the cover as “SMART TIRUPATI – ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION”.

Terms and Conditions

1. Essay should cover the topic mentioned above and weightage shall be given to Creative, Innovative and Positive.

2. The Name of the Participant, Address, Category, Occupation, Age and Contact No., must be mentioned clearly on the top of the Essay.

3. Municipal Corporation Tirupati will evaluate the entries in each category and the TOP THREE ESSAYS will be awarded.

The Competition will close on 15th November, 2015.

The basic facilities like clean sanitation,hotels for outside people,clean water and good food are lacking on the hill tirumala. Because of this people are feeling discomfort.Even though people are able to spend money there are no facilities available. It is better to make all the bookings to the temple computerised which will reduce a lot of ques at the counters.People who go by steps on to the hill are getting frightened by looking at the snakes.So it is better to put fencing in the way .

There should be mainly well educated opinion for starting for work and there should be special for each area that team should be capitalize from government and they should be under command for district collector and the team should have required time to complete the work and especial there should any government offices so that they will be some strictness to the government and my opinion is to receive funds form public for the development of our Tiruapthi into smart area and great pilgrimage.

Respect sir/madam please help for poor housing and supply goods and transportation and under ground drainage problem. And also water supply and next improving roads,railways.so,please do i think tirupati will development the smart very soon, Thank you.

we have to develop the irrigation water resources to the entire labour faculty and the education is may be improved with the basic knowledge of the education is to be named as smart city
