The logo represents the transition from a state of being unknown to a state of having an Indian identity in the cyberspace.. The different colored streaks represent the different Internationalized Domains, which seem different in appearance but in essence merge to serve the purpose of the .in domain - better internet penetration. The purple color represents stability with a hint of enthusiasm, fit for an endeavor like this.

As the facilitator for India's ccTLD, .IN Registry is in a continuously evolving space striving to provide the best and most reliable service of its kind. This calls for a logo that is simple, modern and yet timeless. While the dots represent the cyberspace and multitude of web addresses, the colour gradient signifies growth in general. The dots connect in a way to reveal .IN which is our unique ccTLD. A square form logo that combines elements of minimalistic design and elegance. Do like :)
