Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.
The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.
The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:
1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-
There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

In the logo, two hands are protecting sun. Here two hands symbolises protection or conservation. The symbolic representation of sun indicates energy. Here sun is used because it is one of the most important source of energy. The entire logo is presented in a graphical form to give a symbolic meaning as well as aesthetic look.

The green lines depicts the wings of wildmill (source of wind energy) ,yellow circle represent solar energy as well as light and heat energy . The sun is main source of light and heat energy .Green colour depicts the natural and clean environment ..blue colour depicts to save water ... and this 3 sides of triangle showing efforts made by cental govt, state govt. and every individual ...when this 3 combines we can effeciently conserve energy for us or future generation .

Energy(e) Sources are limited in the World(e), that,s why world is suffering with energy crises.
We can solve this problem by using unconventional energy sources like Wind(Y), Solar (E) & energy efficient items[ LED(e)] & Green_energy (G) sources.
