Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.

The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.

The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:

1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-

There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

Here ,the energy conservation can be seen clearly as the Earth consist various sources of energy as hydro, wind etc. and the glass vessel depicts the layer of conservation of energy (Earth). and the Sun the powerful source of energy- the solar energy.

The logo depicts a Bulb (source of energy) transformed into our Earth. The motto is "Think Globally,Act Locally",that is "to think" in a global perspective and "to act " from our own home,to make our Earth a better place to live.

my logo depicts - if we recycling energy we conserve energy green colour signify's - need for green and blue colour is for earth. It also makes a horizontal bulb (cfl) which shows that we need to recycle our power energy and save earth and go green.

Aesthetically appealing, yet simple; this logo is minimalistic and flat in design and uses only two colours. The font is prominent and loud. Hence, it is visible and easily printable and comprehensible on various media. The logo uses symbols that almost every person can recognise. The lightning bolt- a symbol for energy- embedded in a leaf signifies the judicious and greener uses of energy that help conserve energy and store it for future consumption and sustainable growth. Thank you.

" LIGHT BULB IS AN ELECTRICITY DEVICE.WHICH IS GENERALLY USE IN VILLAGES & BY A COMMON MAN.WHICH CONSUMES 100wt ELECTRICITY.THIS LIGHT BULB REQUIRES MORE POWER THAN OTHER ELECTRONIC BULB.BUT IF WE WANT TO CONSERVE ELECTRICITY,WE SHOULD ADOPT ITS SUBSTITUTE LIKE A CFL LIGHT .WHICH CONSUMES ONLY 20wt ELECTRICITY.THAT'S THE 5 TIMES LESS THAN A LIGHT BULB.A CFL (COMPACT FLORESCENT LAMP) CAN EASILY BE AFFORD BY A POOR PERSON.IN VILLAGES & IT RELEASES MORE BRIGHTNESS THAN A LIGHT BULB.."

A Logo Says Many Words. Solor Panel, Wind Mill, trees and energy bulb are there which shows how we need to use renewable energy sources to save our earth provide a better future to our next generation. So logo speak itself about organization's cause. By saving energy you can bring happiness in life.

"Think Globally,Act Locally"...is the theme of the logo,that is "to think" and act keeping in view of global perspective and "to act" locally from our own home .Here in this logo symbolizes a Bulb (the source of energy) transformed into a form of a "Water droplet",which is an essential resource for our survival.Also the greenrey depicts about our environment,which needs to be conserved.

Save from one, can do wonder for another..' the logo self explains that a needy who is in needy of electric energy uses candle to study where as person who has sufficient electricity is sleeping with lights on... Hence the logo teaches us that there are many who r deprived of the energy and hence it should be used efficiently so that all can use it effectively.."
