Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.

The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.

The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:

1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-

There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

The meaning of the logo is to safe energy. Do not let the energy waste. When we are out of the house we need to switch off. And fixing Switch board is necessary. Saving natural resources could also safe energy.

"save energy for brighter india" we have more than 50% villages & cities living under the shades of darkness and the students from these areas can't study at night and use internet for useful purposes and hence they are always back in technical grounds.so we have to save our energy sources and have to use them in conservative way so that students in villages can be more educated and advance , they will be creating the new pathways and hence the coming young india 's future would be brighter.

Save Power, Share Power. Electricity has to be optimised to serve all sections & to give an impetus to manufacturing. Use certified electrical goods, replace faulty equipment & wiring, increase use of renewable energy sources and switch off power when not necessary. More available power = more industrial output = better living standard for all = Prosperous India.

DONT MISUSE-CONSERVE ENERGY- All of us must actively take part in Energy Conservation at our home level, such as, turning off lights when not required, using electronics in limits, no excessive usage of power appliances and many more practices... I am submitting following logos for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation clearly conveying the current topic.
