Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.

The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.

The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:

1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-

There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

Logo Design for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation is attached and is made in the form of the word ‘सेव’. In place of the 'maatra' over the letter 'स', I have shown electric energy sign which represents all the energies viz: electricity, liquid and gaseous fuels etc. In place of the letter 'व', I have shown an electric bulb with Earth inside. on top of the logo a flower with smiling face in the centre is shown indicating greenery on Earth and happy people.

Suggested Logo. The theme is save natural as well as man created energy.

Tagline : "THINK" Theme: If we do not conserve energy today, may be in future we have no choice except for fire luminosity.

we must conserve our energy resources as it is basic necessity for human being and our coming generation. We must follow the three R's rule: 1). REUSE 2). REDUCE 3). RECYCLE That's why : SAVE ENERGY AND SAVE LIFE
