Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.
The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.
The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:
1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-
There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

Energy conservation can be done when every one will stand together to conserve it by reducing, reusing and recycling the products. Utilizing non conventional resources like solar energy, wind energy, hydroelectric energy. using public transport and switching off the appliances when not in use. Using energy efficient products like CFL bulbs.

Greetings!!!
I am sending my concept for logo. In my concept general observations over energy forms being wasted & their solutions are symbolized in logo form. We generally can observe, water , the most important energy form, being wasted through hand pumps , all over India. So I tried to portray it along with a pair of leaf, which suggests to use such waste water for plants. Saving fuel is what we need most.Electricity problems can be solved by using solar, wind, power derived from tides.
