Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.

The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.

The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:

1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-

There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

Our Mission is to prevent wastage of Energy & conserve it. The Energy Conservation Mission starts from our surroundings, so, please don't avoid, " Be Polite, Turn Off The Light ".

Energy conservation is also a part of good governence. Today we are wasting energy more rather then conserve it. For india there are plenty of resources available of energy but because of misuse or wasting there is shortage of energy. So if everyone start conserve energy then indias growth and indian economy will be on top.

This logo shows, use light from sun as much as you can -- green energy, switch of of light, use low voltage bulbs, everyone should think on energy saving technicians in there home, use wind energy, save fuel, use bicycle, put tv and computers on low brightness, use natural resources to create energy.

The saffron colour symbolizes energy, the green colour symbolizes conservation and nature, the centre shows conservation of energy, this campaign is an initiative towards making a greener, cleaner and brighter india

This very simple log shows to switch of light and same energy as much as you can. Energy saved is Energy generated.

The logo depicts two joined hands embracing together in such a way that it is protecting a home and giving message to save energy,use replenishable resources of energy , like solar energy .It has a hanging bulb which get power from the solar panel installed on the roof. The circuit diagram closes at the entrance, which conveys switch off power when leaving home. So let’s take this small step towards better future. Save energy Save Future @ conserve resources for the generations to come .

This clean and elegant Logo clearly transforms the idea. The bulb was one of the most ancient form of discovery of Energy. The Leaf having Energy icon depicts the idea of Energy Re-generation and renewal. The elements of energy generation on top of Bulb, symbolises the concept in more detailed manner.
