Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks entries for an innovative designing of a logo for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation. The objective of this national campaign is to create awareness among the citizens of India for good practices and habits towards energy saving.
The last date of submission is 5th December, 2014.
The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:
1. First Prize - Rs. 25,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 15,000/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 10,000/-
There will be three prizes for third position and Rs 10,000/- will be awarded to each winner.

SAVE ENERGY SAVE FUTURE:
The whole concept of the icon is to emphasize on the importance of developing energy efficient and sustainable methods of production.
And how these new technologies ( power button used in PCs,Laptops, everywhere) can contribute to replacing the diminishing supplies of fossil fuels, and reduce the consequences of carbon dioxide release into the environment.

Energy is the single largest factor in our life which drives our life in every aspect
Emphasize on renewable energy technologies,and saving the limited non renewable sources is the need of the time.
1) Renewable energy technologies including wind (the thunder sign from symbol),Solar (the Orange hand)
2) Biological energy options(includes the plants analogy) will transform the sources from Bio mass to Bio fuel
The solution is must by the society,for the human kind and by the human kind.
