The Dr. Ambedkar Foundation (DAF) is an autonomous body under the administrative control of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. The Foundation has been entrusted with the responsibility of managing, administering and carrying on the important and long-term schemes and programmes identified during the Centenary Celebrations of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The main objectives of the Foundation inter alia include implementation of programmes and activities for furthering the ideology and message of Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar among the masses in India as well as abroad.
Presently, the Foundation does not have any logo of its own. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Dr. Ambedkar Foundation. The last date of submission is October 1, 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-.

Babasaheb, was an Indian jurist, politician and social reformer who inspired the Modern Buddhist Movement and campaigned against social discrimination in India, striving for equal social rights for Dalits, women and labour.
He was independent India's first law minister and the principal architect of the Constitution of India.
According to him the industrialization and agricultural industry growth could enhance the economy of the nation.

The logo depicts the illuminating aura of the founder of the most elaborate constitution in the world. His persona is an inspiring embodiment of dream, hope for a society where human treats other as human. His incomparable learning, humanity, patriotism to the core, spotless character, his encyclopedic knowledge and wisdom makes him tallest amongst the Indians who earned us freedom not only from Britishers but the conservative thoughts that engulfed the thoughts of Indians in those times.
