The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

India is breaking the stereotype that it is the home of traditions, The initiative of DIGITAL INDIA is a step towards being modernized . The logo signifies the process of being digitalised from the early stages to the ultimate. The tricolour in the frame obviously represents our nation & the pixelated background is a pointer towards the target of being DIGITALISED....
