I would like to suggest the cities whose population is between 5 lac to 15 lac. so that for pilot testing big cities are not feasible. Pilot testing should be done on small volume. I would suggest modular or portable biogas digester to be filled by waste collecting trucks and stack them lilke containers in ships. After 60 days collect the gas and use the manure for agriculture for free. Operating Cost Will be recurred by using biogas for power generation.

i think,20 cities and 50 towns should be enough to experiment .cities must be bearing population of 5,00,000-20,00,000 and towns of strength 50,000-2,00,000.at least one city in major states and at least 2-3 towns of the same

After careful consideration, almost all cities are identifiable except few which are ideal or model by govt. In Gujarat particularly Vadodara, Rajkot, Bharuch, Junagadh are potential ones. I have researched on advanced Biogas digester which has best yield and fastest gas generation. From waste segregation to collection and digestion this "clean drive" can be executed.
