Sir, Supreme Court has recently made an important observation that religious conversions through allurements/compulsions is a serious threat to the security of the nation and has sought the response of the government. Your government, more than anyone else is quite aware of this. There are many who, due to vested interests, are blind to such issues. People, especially the vulnerable sections of the society are misled to convert to other religions, especially to Christianity, as there are no castes, as in Hinduism. Interestingly, most of them are happy to continue with their original Hindu names, to avoid from being identified as a Christian. Subsequently, these misled people seek reservation, as existing for their Hindu brothers and sisters. I am confident that the present government will never agree for such concessions, to further encourage more conversions. Regards,
