Respected Hon’ble Prime Minister,
While we speak about protecting natural resources, nature is silently being damaged during development activities.
For road construction, hills and small mountains are being cut and blasted. For concrete roads, large quantities of jelly stones are used, leading to excessive quarrying. This causes permanent loss of hills, groundwater recharge, green cover, and ecological balance.
I humbly request the Government to promote sustainable alternatives such as recycled construction materials, eco-friendly road technologies, reduced dependence on hill quarrying, and stricter environmental impact assessments.
Development should not destroy nature irreversibly. I request your kind intervention to balance infrastructure growth with environmental protection.
Yours faithfully,
A concerned citizen of India
