हाल ही में कश्मीर में हुए आतंकवादी हमले ने सम्पूर्ण देश को झकझोर कर रख दिया है। निर्दोष लोगों की इस घटना में जो जानें गई हैं, वह न केवल एक व्यक्तिगत क्षति है, बल्कि यह हमारे पूरे देश की आत्मा को पीड़ा पहुंचाने वाली घटना है। यह घटना देखकर खून खौल रहा है और लग रहा है जैसे कोई हमारे ही घर में घुसकर हमारे भाई-बहनों, माता-पिता को मार रहा है और हम केवल रोने के सिवा कुछ नहीं कर पा रहे। प्रधानमंत्री जी, हमारी संस्कृति ने तो पाप के खिलाफ शस्त्र उठाना सिखाया है। यह कैंडल मार्च और बाकी सब देखकर लग रहा है जैसे हम सबने चूड़ियाँ पहन ली हैं। हमारे गुरुओं ने जो कुर्बानी दी है, शिवाजी, संभाजी महाराज—क्या इन सभी की कुर्बानी बेकार चली गई? सर, जब तक हमारे देश के बच्चे-बच्चे में इस हो रहे हाहाकार के खिलाफ लड़ने की हिम्मत नहीं आएगी, तब तक हम लोगों के साथ ऐसा होता रहेगा। मेरा एक सुझाव है—सर, कृपया स्कूलों में बच्चों को पिकनिक की तरह ऐसी फिल्में दिखाई जाएँ जिससे उनमें जोश आए जैसे: छावा, जात, चार साहिबज़ादे, माँ तुझे सलाम आदि। सिनेमा ऐसी चीज़ है जो बच्चों के दिल और दिमाग पर गहरा असर छोड़ती है।
