The indirect taxes are a burden on the common man. A one rupee tax on a product for a person earning Rs 100 a day varies from the same tax on a person earning Rs 1 lakh. should we not move awary from indirect taxes?

Highly Respected Sir,
we like to suggest instead of introducing 1% Exise duty on Jewelery slab wise,we suggest please introduce 1/2 % to 1 % Turnover tax under cenvat for all jewellers uniformly which will be accepted by all jewellers, Sir we say (Gaurantee)they agree happily as they had bad experiences with the excise department earlierly.
sir please forward this message to Finance ministry, as they can handle these jewelers opposition. as we are a major contributing sector towards nation.

Sir, the EPF announcements have brought forth way too many discussions, only leading to greater confusion. Could you clarify the view of the NITI Aayog regarding, ethos behind EPF, new age high income sectors & EPF contribution, EPFO investments, effect of bulk withdrawal & reinvestment - tax benefits at multiple levels, association with pension schemes and non-disbursed EPF.

Sir, the budget, Bank board, Smart City & JAM initiatives cover most segments. After a long while, this years budget has brought to the fore rural economy from mere platitudes. For someone who believes that the smart way forward for sustained overall growth is boosting the rural economy-income, to increase demand across sectors, my views seemed to get ratified. To read this budget in isolation is I think to miss its transformational effect on the economy & polity over the next decade - your view

I have seen doctors unnecessarily prescribing medical tests of Rs.5ooo for Autorickshaw drivers who can earn Rs.500/day.An Autorikshaw driver has to work 12 hours for making that much money.Even some good valued doctors also told me about this kind of bad practices.Doctors should get a reasonable income for their hard work. But govt has serious responsibilities to the nation as a whole!

We need to increase the income tax payers base. But I didn't come across any if the proposal in this budget. This is high time that we need to increase the tax payers base to have more revenue generated rather taxing the same set of people tear on year.

Sir there is a lot of programme making overlapping and confusion among implementors and beneficiary both and also resources misuse. Why not you rationally analyze the programs and integrate them into few understable. Many programmes with their organisation are also irrelivent today and need to b stop.ur top down reforms approach are also least effective at ground level so make district administration more autonomous for making and implementing reforms at their own level.

please look into the many big businessman who are loan defaulters. like vijay mallya.. there are many like this. file a case on them and the case charges should be taken from them only. by recovering money from these defaulters, free the poor farmers, who work very hard but still cant pay their loans, because of so many reasons. by doing like this we can save many lives from committing suicide. this is my mann ki baat with kisan kalyan. i respect all the farmers and the soldiers. Jai hind...

Government should promote Environment friendly schemes like Roof Top Solar power for Individual houses for less than 2KwP & Installation of Rain Water harvesting system under income tax relaxation just like House loans or new Scheme Environment Loan. New section for Income tax exemption for Environment to be introduced for upto Rs 50,000 which can cater both RTSP and Rain water Harvesting. This will increase Use of Solar energy and rain water harvesting and more collection of Rain water
