We need to get an ISSN Number for the book. We applied 6 months ago. We wrote two letter to Ms Smriti Irani. Dear Sir: We are trying to publish a book on Biotechnology, Bioengineering and Biomedical Applications under the aegis of prestigious, National Design Research Forum (NDRF), Institution of Engineers, Bangalore, India. For the last 6 months we are trying to get an ISSN number for the book. We have written letters to Ms Smriti Irani's office twice. Yet, there is no action from any responsible staff. How can any one publish book in India? If one can get a passport in a week why not get an IISN # ?
