World Hindi Conferences (WHC) are being organized since 1975 in different parts of the world. The last World Hindi Conference was organized in South Africa in 2012. This year, the ...

World Hindi Conferences (WHC) are being organized since 1975 in different parts of the world. The last World Hindi Conference was organized in South Africa in 2012. This year, the 10th World Hindi Conference is scheduled to be organized in New Delhi.

The main objectives for the organization of World Hindi Conference are to promote and propagate Hindi in foreign countries as a world language, establish the relevance of Hindi language in the Globalised world and encourage research work and original writings in Hindi by the foreigners and people of Indian origin etc.  

Citizens are invited to design/suggest a suitable logo for 10th World Hindi Conference that would reflect the spirit and objectives of World Hindi Conference.

Ministry of External Affairs seeks entries for design a Logo for “10th World Hindi Conference 2015”.

The last date of submission is 20th March, 2015.

The selected entry will be awarded a prize of Rs. 50,000/-.

In the following logo Hindi Numeric Character '10' is depicted by pictorial Peacock as it symbolises Royalty, Spirituality, Awakening and Guidance, Few things which are closely associated with our Hindi language. The Design is kept simple and minimal so that it can be easily printed on any surface, size and color. #10thWorldHindiConference, #WorldHindiConference, #MinistryofExternalAffairs, #MyGov

I have designed a Peacock in my logo, because this time conference is in India, and Peacock is our National bird also it is the vehicle of Goddess Saraswati, which has great significance in our Indian culture. I have also included globe, within the Hindi number "10" to depict the essence of this conference. i.e. to promote Hindi as a world language and encourage its use at global level.

The logo resembles a Swan. Swan symbolizes grace and beauty on many levels. It is associated with love, music, and poetry. As Hindi is such a beautiful and graceful language the Swan represents the Hindi language. The dark areas of the logo makes the digits 1 and 0 in Hindi as it is the 10th Conference to be conducted. The colour scheme used is blue and white, as most of the Earth looks the same. This is done keeping in mind the aim to spread Hindi as a Global language. #WorldHindiConference

WHinCo For WHindi " - world Hindi confeference for world in Hindi this tag line is cathchy n short and globally acceptable. In my logo I have tried to show Hindi's presence in the world from the ancient time for it has roots deep inherited. It has slowly n gradually shown its importance and has covered the world with its presence. For it is shown to spread like tree forming umbrella.
