A lot of good points already covered in the other responses. Another interesting one is the following: In schools in Japan, children take turns in distributing the lunches and in cleaning up after. Before going home, there is time set aside for cleaning the school. The children together with their teachers, clean the classroom, stairwell, corridors, toilet and other rooms.Let's all clean the place where we study together. Easy to implement with no standing investment costs.

I request a simple improvement from VMC to strictly force out hundreds of cows, bulls & buffalos from vadodara streets. They eat plastic, garbage etc. and make the end product polluted. Moreover this is the cause of several vehicle accidents. I am available for any assistance.

India's problems are unique to india and at very large scale. India needs to look first within and then outside. There are many best practices & case studies being created in India itself. I kindly request Mr. Modi & Team to see “Satyamev Jayate” work on this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lS0_FCBzI_w). There are many solutions provided here which can turn around India to one of the cleanest country in couple of years and no need to wait till 2019. Kindly see attached PDF for further details.
