Kerosene subsidy is Rs 300bn.For providing off-grid Home lighting Solar system to 80 million users of kerosene for lighting we need 80000 suppliers against 33 empenelled by MNRE.Encourage off-grid solar system by Withdrawing subsidy.It will make it cheaper i.e. Rs.5000/-per set.almost the amount of subsidy and help create 8 lakh jobs,will help in achieving goal of "Make-in India" programme plus save Govt.Rs300 bn/annunm by making India Kerosene & Pollutio free thus no subsiidy for Kerosene.

I will start identifying areas where enerygy is being wasted and try to contain the wastage. I will identify sectors from which I can use material to produce clean and green energy. Main source of energy is Sun and another indirect source is bio waste in any form. I will try to make maximum usgae of these two available resources.

-All state and central government offices/building should compulsorily install solar panels for electricity generation - Mandatory use of LED lights in all buildings - Traffic signals should be converted to LED and powered by Solar panels where possible - Remove unnecessary speed breakers from roads which waste fuel and oil - Remove/reduce taxes o energy efficient vehicles such as electric cars -Incentivize companies for developing products which drastically reduces energy/fuel consumption

Part 02 of 02, By banning Chinese/foreign solar power equipment import in India, We can boost Indian Manufacturer of solar power & wind power, which will help in Job creation. Moreover higher quality Indian make product will be installed which will increase the energy efficiency and ultimately it will be a useful step for making better India as it serving both energy efficiency and job creation purpose.

Part 01 of 2, I would have supported and giving advantages/protection to Indian Manufacturers of solar power & wind power equipments by giving subsidies, lowering excise duties & banning Chinese/foreign solar power equipment import in India. As Solar & wind power r going to be enhanced in India, but the same time Chinese/foreign vendors are dumping their waste (bad quality solar equipments) in India at very lower cost. It results into waste of capital and loss of faith into renewable energy.

As a student my major contribution would be to create a general knowledge among my classmates about energy efficiency.The need of the hour is to have a proper policy that would govern the effective use of renewable energy and its production. Sustained use of hydro, solar and bio energy sources would also help reduce the dependance on petro products. Use of technology for energy efficient mechanism is also required

there are following way : 1. all the street/road light should be operated with automatically based on sunlight intensity. 2. all the offices should be lighted based on luminous flux requirement, and a microprocessor based controller shall be provided to their operation. 3. initiative has to be taken to green building. 4. use of airconditioned shall be minimised. 5. solar panel installation cost should be minimum.
