Modiji, I am a well to do person but still not financially sound enough that I can financially support to my son for worthy higher studies after engineering. So I went to State Bank of India & IDBI for taking education loan. I was demanding Rs.20 lacs for pursuing MS of my son. SBI said either submit collateral property worth Rs25 lacs or submit the proof to have FD worth Rs.25 lacs. Difficult to understand whether I was financing bank or bank to me. Please resolve such situation.
