Dear Sir, We need to take climate change seriously. I suggest 1. impose heavy taxes on petrol and diesel cars, thereby making them nonviable 2. subsidise electric and hybrid cars. At present electric cars are much more expensive than petrol cars. They should be cheaper than petrol/diesel cars so people opt for them 3. Re introduce subsidies for solar plants 4. Dear Sir, India will always be susceptible to drought due to the seasonal rains in our country. There are however regions in our country that receive excessive rainfall and this happens almost every year. There is a solution to ensuring all parts of the country can have enough water all year round at least to ensure there is not a drought situation in the country. How can this be done?
