Bilaspur Smart City Talk

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Urban Development for smart city challenge, the third Stakeholder/Citizen consultation meeting is being organized by Bilaspur Municipal Corporation on 1/11/2015. The meeting will start at 4:00pm at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Dikshit Sabha Bhavan.

Discussion on the options of Pan city and Area Development projects will be carried out during the talk show.

The meeting will be headed by Member of Parliament (C.G.) Mr. Lakhan Lal Sahu, in the presence of Mayor Bilaspur Mr. Kishor Rai, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ranu Sahu. Members of Laghu Udyog Sangh, Merchant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Lions Club will also be present in the talk show.

TO make a really smart city ..at first we have to provide a good communication and transport mobility free from traffic jam..,so there should be a good traffic control and road planning..and metro and other transports too.next we have to provide a good maintenance to keep the city clean.there should be a dust bean in every corner and public spot on the subway..and in the dust beens a detector can be installed which will give a signal to pickup vehicle when it full...etc insufficient space

Ecologically & environmentally sustainable city : focus on community awareness for reduction in waste generations at source, segregated door to door collection & transportation system, road sweeping, waste processing/recycling & reuse, landfill, use of GPS / tracking system
