His name is Lalkudi Thirumanamedu Shri P.Prabhu. Aged 40. His father was also a singer with UDUKKADI. He learned the story telling formulae from his father from the age of 7. It is also known as Kathakalachebam with Udukkai. He is well versed in telling stories about the Tamil literature stories. One among them is Kathavarayan story song. He can speak, sing, dance with song. He has travelled all over Tamilnadu. He is a Tamil Teacher in a private school CBSE pattern. This Udukkai comes in the group of Kuchipudi, Kathakali and Pommalattam. I have introduced him here to know about the Udukkai Pattu to other parts of India.
