Dear Patriots The Indian Treasurer & domestic VDA / Blockchain industry is losing lakhs of crores to foreign players & to make India a leader in the web3 / blockchain / VDA domain (which is the future path to growth for every nation), there is an urgent need to look at the following: 1. Remove TDS from VDA (virtual digital assets) transactions or reduce it to 0.01% 2. Amend section 194S and 115BBH of the income tax act to ensure that foreign crypto exchanges comply with the local laws and and tax regulations, irrespective of their physical presence in India 3. Allow tax payers to offset losses from VDAs (virtual digital assets) transactions against gains from other VDA transactions. Reduce 30% tax slab to 15-20% on Gains from VDA transactions 4. Provide official Banking Support to VDA industry / exchanges including NPCI support 5. GOI should start holding and investing in Bitcoin as reserve like how other superpowers & smart Countries (USA, China, Bhutan) are doing.
