Provide tax incentives for R&D: Encourage research and development in EV battery technology and charging infrastructure through tax breaks for companies involved in these areas. Tax deductions for businesses: Offer tax deductions to businesses that install and operate public EV charging stations. This would encourage the development of a robust charging infrastructure.

The Union Budget 2025 should aim to incentivize the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) through tax policies. Here are some suggestions: Maintain Low GST Rates: Currently, EVs attract a 5% GST rate. Maintaining this low rate is crucial for making EVs more affordable. Extend FAME-II Scheme: The Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid & Electric Vehicles (FAME-II) scheme provides subsidies for EV purchases. Extending this scheme with enhanced incentives could further boost EV adoption.

Provide tax incentives for domestic manufacturers: Offering tax breaks or subsidies to domestic manufacturers of solar panels and components would encourage investment in the domestic solar industry.   By implementing these tax-related measures, the Union Budget 2025 can play a crucial role in accelerating the adoption of solar energy in India, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.

Dear nirmala Ji Sub : Reduce the tax on Solar panels at Home Tax Benefits for Residential Installations: Consider offering tax rebates or deductions for individuals who install solar panels on their homes. This would incentivize residential adoption and contribute to the growth of the rooftop solar market.

Union Budget 2025 should aim to incentivize the adoption of solar panels through tax policies. Reduce or Eliminate GST on Solar Panels and Components: Currently, solar panels and components attract a 5% GST. Reducing or eliminating this tax would significantly lower the upfront cost for consumers and businesses, making solar power more affordable and accessible. A higher depreciation allowance for solar panel installations would encourage businesses to invest in renewable energy sources. This would allow them to claim larger tax deductions, effectively reducing their tax liability.

Madam Finance Minister Ji, I am a Practicing Chartered Account at Ghaziabad. I belong to Middle class family. In current time the economy is slow. Normally the middle class family are engaged in small business of supplying goods or services to the locals. Those small business provides more employment in comparison to public sector undertaking as well government. In last eleven years, the government had not given incentive to those middle class income tax filers at the growth rate of economy or growth rate of online businesses or compare to the other sector of economy. Please refer my attachment. Your Faithfull ANIL KUMAR MITTAL (Chartered Accountant) M. No. 9818194934
