Dear FM madam Sub : More Budget Allocation for R&D The Indian pharma and healthcare sector realized the bitter truth of its two decade long dependence on China for supply of APIs. Introduction of more API manufacturing clusters, incentives to their manufacturers including tax-holiday, lower rates of income tax and regulatory support are obviously a major expectation in the upcoming budget. Dear FM Ji Sub : Allocation for R & D sector Long-term perspective: R&D is often a long-term investment with uncertain outcomes. Consider allocating a portion of your budget to high-risk, high-reward projects that have the potential for significant breakthroughs. Flexibility and adaptability: Be prepared to adjust your R&D budget and priorities in response to changing market conditions, technological advancements, and unforeseen challenges. Ethical considerations: Ensure that your R&D activities are conducted ethically and responsibly, with due consideration for environmental, social, and societal impacts.
