In May 1883 he married at the age of 13 with 14-year-old Casturba Mahanji. The woman's first name was abbreviated as Casturba and it was said that people loved her because of love. These marriages are systematic child marriages arranged by their parents, who then assert themselves in this area. But in this area there is a habit so that adolescents must live longer than their parents' homes and husbands. https://www.moiaxomiya.xyz/2019/05/Mahatma-Gandhi-Mohandas-Karamchand-Gandhi-article.html

Born and raised in a Hindu merchant caste family in coastal Gujarat, India, and trained in law at the Inner Temple, London, Gandhi first employed nonviolent civil disobedience as an expatriate lawyer in South Africa, in the resident Indian community's struggle for civil rights. After his return to India in 1915, he set about organising peasants, farmers, and urban labourers to protest against excessive land-tax and discrimination. https://www.bharatsthali.com/
