A related trait for Gandhi was his belief that the end did not justify the means. He was insistent about purity of path in order to achieve desired goal.

You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.

It is unwise to be too sure of one's own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err.

I look only to the good qualities of men. Not being faultless myself, I won't presume to probe into the faults of others.

Looking at each person just as a human being “Be quick, be brief, be gone!” Personal meetings with Gandhi were very short, generally lasting a couple of minutes. However, in those minutes people felt that Gandhi made them feel as if they were the only person in the world that Gandhi would have liked to talk at that time.

Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

Continuous learning and improvement Gandhi always told his followers that if two of his sentences contradict each other and if they thought he was sane at that time (!), please ignore the first one and accept the second one. This reflects his learning and growth mindset, as well as anticipation of his followers’ needs. As an added corollary, rigid consistency was not one of his traits!

Mahatma Gandhi had rolled out an ideology of peace. He implies on simplicity but at that time globalisation was not there, I respect Gandhi ji, but still we need to thinks his ideology in todays scenario. Else we will be behind of the other nations. In this auspicious day I would like to rethink about my country, as I have given my entire youth to my country and try to find an answer what would have his course of action and ideology in this new era.
