#AmendmentSrNo17-(a)Credit in respect of construction of building / civil structure should also be available when it is for business purpose.(b)Rent a cab- Under Business lots of cabs used to be hired for business purpose. There is no justification for not allowing the ITC on above.(c)Medical & Life Insurances policies taken for employees- This is also provided by companies to employees for ensuring health & life security of employees & their families & hence the same should be eligible.

#AmendmentSrNo17-These are welcome steps but there should not be so many restrictions as credit is backbone of GST e.g in case of Food/canteen services credit is opened up only where it is obligatory for an employer to provide it to employee which simply means that credit for these services at Head offices & to all service industry is still not available. The differentiation is not genuine. Simply all the expenses related to business or otherwise allowed as per I.T Act should be eligible.
